ECHO robotic mowers from Apollo

Robotic mowers for sports fields

Apollo sells, sets up and services ECHO robotic mowers that cut athletic fields in straight GPS-RTK strips. Each mower below shows its price and its 60-month lease payment.

Prices shown are Apollo's best price guarantee, with the 60-month lease payment beside each.

Mowers for this work

Every price is Apollo's best price guarantee. Every mower needs a charging station, priced separately on the ECHO page. The monthly figure is that price on Apollo's 60-month lease with a $1 purchase option, equipment only, subject to credit approval.

What to plan for

  • Straight strips

ECHO says GPS-RTK guides the mower with 2 cm accuracy and cuts in parallel strips with no overlap. No boundary wire is buried.

  • Several fields

ECHO describes one robot covering up to 75,000 m² and linking several fields in multi-zone mode, managed from the ECHO app or portal.

  • Change zones from the app

Work zones and no-go zones can be changed in real time through the app, without a visit to the field, per ECHO.

  • Soil and turf

ECHO says a light robot used often avoids the soil compaction of heavy machinery, and that mulching cuts fertilizer use by an estimated 20%.

  • Slopes

The TM-850 handles up to 30%, the TM-1050 up to 35% and the TM-2050 up to 45%, from ECHO's model pages.

  • Charging and setup

Every mower needs a charging station, and Apollo confirms the base station and site setup on the quote.

Four questions match the job to a mower, with its price and lease payment.

How big a field can one mower cut?

ECHO lists up to 75,000 m² for the TM-2050, about 18 acres, up to 45,000 m² for the TM-1050, about 11 acres, and up to 30,000 m² for the TM-850. Acres are conversions, rounded down.

Do the mowers need a boundary wire?

No. ECHO describes GPS-RTK navigation with its Wisenav system, so no cable is buried and zones are set on a map.

Can one mower cut more than one field?

ECHO says one robot can cover up to 75,000 m² and connect several spaces in multi-zone mode.

Can I change the mowing area later?

ECHO says work zones and no-go zones can be changed in real time through its app, with no visit to the site.
